Everyone loves labradors, and this week is your chance to bring one home! The Warrick Humane Society is an established no-kill shelter in Newburgh, Indiana. The shelter offers a safe place for animals like Vivian to stay until they are adopted. Since the Warrick Humane Society does not receive any government funding, it relies on donations, sponsorships, and fundraisers to operate the shelter. Don't forget to check out the Home Away Pet Spa, a grooming and boarding facility for the community, where all proceeds help the animals in the shelter. The Warrick Humane Society has far too many dogs and cats in their care that need a loving home and family to call their own forever. Vivian Is Ready To Be A Part Of Your Forever Family

It's hard to believe that Vivian hasn't been adopted yet. She is a seven-year-old Labrador Retriever mix. Get your application in today by applying here. Applications are reviewed in the order they are received. You can also stop by WHS and meet Vivian! WHS is open Wed–Thu from 12–7 and Fri–Sun from 12–4. Here's what the Warrick Humane Society said about Vivian:

"Vivian is calm, friendly, gentle, attentive, and incredibly easygoing. She has a wonderful "go with the flow" personality and seems completely unbothered by all of the sights and sounds around her when she's out and about. She listens well, walks beautifully on a leash, knows how to sit, and is happy to accept treats. Most importantly, she loves being around her people and has all the makings of a loyal, loving companion. Vivian can be nervous when meeting new people, especially men, and especially when she's approached through the kennel bars. It's important not to let that first impression fool you. Once Vivian gets the opportunity to leave the kennel and spend some time with you, her true personality starts to shine. Give her a walk, a little patience, and some time to get comfortable, and you'll quickly see what makes everyone who knows her love her so much. At 7 years old, Vivian has so much love left to give. She would make a wonderful companion for someone looking for a sweet, gentle dog who is happy to simply be by your side. We truly believe Vivian is going to be someone's very best friend."
