Garth Brooks to Kick Off New Arena Tour in Indiana

Garth Brooks will embark on a brand-new arena tour, and it's going to kick off right here in the Hoosier State!

I have been to countless concerts, but none of them compare to a Garth concert. The energy and electricity are top-notch from start to finish. Plus, you will be singing along to every song, even the ones you don't really know all of the words to. I saw him in Nashville, and twice at Notre Dame Stadium in South Bend. Each show was a different kind of exciting.

Speaking of exciting things, a mysterious countdown clock recently popped up on Garth Brooks' website.  It said, quote, "The future is about to become history."  It expired on Tuesday, July 7th at 7:00 a.m. Eastern. After it expired, Garth posted this video to Instagram.

A brand new arena tour?! Sign me up! The big question that I had upon seeing this was whether he was going to be making a stop in Indiana or not. Well, I didn't have to wait too long to get that answer!

Garth Brooks is Returning to Indiana

It has been four years since Garth last performed here in Indiana at Notre Dame Stadium, and almost a decade since Garth played in Indianapolis. However, that's all about to change with this morning's "Blame It All On My Roots" Arena Tour announcement. Not only will Garth be coming to play in Indianapolis, but he's kicking off the entire tour right here in the Hoosier State!

Brooks' website calls this a retro arena tour, and continues to say:

Thirty years ago, Garth Brooks launched what would become the largest concert tour on the planet. No one defined '90s country more completely than Garth, and now he's bringing every hit he ever made back to the arenas where it all started.

The tour kicks off with back-to-back nights in Indianapolis, Indiana, on August 21 and 22 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.

Tickets go on sale Friday, July 17, at 10 a.m. ET at www.ticketmaster.com/garthbrooks or through the Ticketmaster app. Garth's announcement on his website goes on to say:

The show features both end-stage and in-the-round seating, with all seats reserved. There are no pre-sales or advance box office sales. All tickets go on sale simultaneously. There is an eight-ticket limit per purchase. Sign in to your Ticketmaster account (or create one) ahead of the on-sale to be ready when tickets go live.

Oh, and this isn't just a tour for Garth. He is also recording the tour! His website says that The Blame It All On My Roots Tour will "serve as the foundation for Killer Live, a groundbreaking new approach to live recording that continues Brooks's tradition of capturing history in real time."
