A Hoosier Christmas Story

One of my dad's favorite Christmas movies is A Christmas Story and it's been a tradition in my family to watch that movie on Christmas day for as long as I can remember.  It's a classic Christmas film, and it has a special place in the hearts of many Hoosiers because the movie is set in Hammond, Indiana (even though the film wasn't filmed in Indiana).

Ralphie and the Gang Heading to Indiana

A Christmas Story came out in 1983 making this the 40th anniversary of the movie.  So to celebrate this milestone anniversary Ralphie and the gang are heading back home to the city that inspired the film, Hammond, Indiana.  On December 16th and 17th the cast of A Christmas Story will be in Hammond, Indiana to commemorate the 40th anniversary, and you will even have the opportunity to meet cast members.

A tribute to the 40th Anniversary of "A Christmas Story," a tribute to Hammond, and a tribute to every heart that ever found joy in this timeless tale. The cast, your beloved misfits, are all set to make this reunion an event of legendary proportions. From Peter Billingsley to Scott Schwartz, the gang’s all here to relive the magic with you during the "A Christmas" Comes Home Exhibit!
