Did you know Indiana has its own Nashville?  Yep, it's true however the town is actually a whole lot like big ole' Gatlinburg on a much smaller scale and it's awesome.

AN ANNIVERSARY TRIP TO REMEMBER

My husband and I love to find new places to visit so when I found out Indiana had a town just like Gatlinburg and only half the distance away from where we lived I was immediately sold on the idea.

We stayed in a hilltop cabin that was to die for and absolutely enjoyed taking in the sites of the town because we could see it all.

TAKING IN THE SITES OF BROWN COUNTY

Nashville, Indiana, or Brown County is the type of town you park the car and walk everywhere.  There are tons of unique shops to explore, a great playhouse to take in the theater, a winery and distillery for tasting, and a few State Parks within a stone's throw if you love taking on the trails and nature scene.

We even found FREE parking.  You do have to pay for parking in some parts of the town but there is a cute little parking lot just a block off the main strip.

If you aren't into camping but want to stay overnight you can book a room at the Story Inn if you dare. It is rumored to be one of the most haunted places in Indiana.  Stories have been told of the Blue Lady who lives there and is the wife of the former owner of the Inn.  Guests have said she leaves items in the color blue throughout.

Whatever you do just go and enjoy the town.  Even heading there for a day trip is totally worth the drive.

Indiana Restaurant Has Food So Good You'll Think You're At Grandma's House

One Indiana restaurant will immediately remind you of your Grandmother's kitchen as soon as you walk in the swinging screen porch door and we tried it. Here's what we thought.

Gaslight In Huntingburg A Hidden Pizza Bar & Grill Heaven

My very favorite restaurants in the world are hometown hole-in-the-wall joints that have the most delicious food ever. Gaslight Pizza & Grill fits the bill to a tee. Their food is better than any I have tasted for miles in the Tristate.
