I decided to go ahead and vote early. Here is my tale!

Yesterday was not my first attempt at voting early. On Monday, I had some errands to run so I stopped by the North Park Library Branch and was ready to get my vote on. Upon entering, I was greeted by this:

WHY WERE THERE SO MANY PEOPLE?! I wanted to vote early so that I could avoid this. If I wanted to be near people with different political views than me, I'd go to Thanksgiving with my family. I decided to wait in this line for around 45 minutes before realizing it was only Monday and I had all week to vote. I also got a tip from Courier and Press reporter, Shannon Hall, that Central Library had shorter lines.

I stopped by Central Library after work yesterday (around 3:30pm) and was pleasantly surprised to see several tumbleweeds blow by because it was deserted. I walked up, got signed in, voted, got my sticker because that's the entire reason we vote, and got out in about 5 minutes. It was a very pleasant experience. If you decide to vote early, I recommend going to Central Library.

Oh, and here is my post vote selfie because it's required!
