I love opening my email, and seeing one from our friend, Sabrina Jones. She sends us all of the scoop about Holiday World & Splashin' Safari. Today's very important email revealed the opening dates for the 2021 season. It's a very important year for Holiday World, celebrating its 75th season.

Of course, if you are of a certain age, you know that Holiday World was originally called Santa Claus Land. I remember feeding goats empty ice cream cones. Yes, there was a petting zoo!

Now, Holiday World is known for World-Class coasters, award winning attractions and Splashin' Safari. Last season was a challenge with COVID-19, but the park was able to navigate the pandemic safely, with new ways to purchase tickets, waiting in virtual queues for rides and requiring masks.

Saturday, May 15, 2021 is the opening day for Holiday World. If you are a Season Passholder, you will get first dibs at the park the weekend of May 8 and 9. Tickets are on sale now HolidayWorld.com

Holiday World's COVID-19 policies have not been announced yet, but we do know that the the inLine Reservation System will not be in use this year.

“For 75 years, four generations of my family have grown this park with slightly differing visions, but always with the same goal: to give families a break from reality. We are eager to open our gates and welcome back our Kids World and Happy Halloween Weekends events in 2021.” - Leah Koch, Director of Communications and Fourth Generation Owner

To meet the rising demand, Holiday World will be hiring 2,200 team members. Those interested can apply at HolidayWorld.com/jobs.
