Hailee Steinfeld Proclaims Her Love in ‘Capital Letters’ on New ‘Fifty Shades Freed’ Song
The Fifty Shades of Grey series may be known for its adult themes but the latest single for the upcoming Fifty Shades Freed soundtrack takes a less risque approach.
After Rita Ora and Liam Payne delivered their soundtrack single "For You," Hailee Steinfeld teams up with Bloodpop for "Capital Letters." Without getting too explicit or erotic, Steinfeld still delivers a sultry song as she sings, "For worse or for better/Gonna give it up to you in capital letters."
Singing over a synth-y dance beat, Steinfeld's voice transforms "Capital Letters" into an anthem-like track as she croons, "I want to get louder/I got to get louder/We 'bout to go up baby, up we go/We 'bout to go up baby, up we go/We're blowing out speakers."
Co-written by Ellie Goulding, "Capital Letters" will join a star-studded soundtrack that includes music from Sia, Dua Lipa, Goulding and actor Jamie Dornan. The album is set to release on Feb. 9, the same day the third and final film of the series hits theaters.
