GoPro on Rocket Launched to Space Is Simply Breathtaking
What's cooler than a rocket blasting into space? A rocket blasting into space with a camera attached to it.
Prepare to be amazed and reminded just how awesome the world and universe are in this clip. We can sit and explain it to you, but we couldn't do it any better than the YouTube description:
On November 6th, 2015 UP Aerospace Inc. launched the 20-foot tall SL-10 rocket into near-space. The mission: deploy the Maraia Capsule testing the aerodynamics and stability of the payload on e-entry to the atmosphere. The rocket reached an altitude of 396,000 feet and speeds up to Mach 5.5 (3800mph) at engine burnout."
Yeah, we don't know what any of that mean, either, but you know what? It doesn't matter. All we know is that there's a camera on a rocket and it's insanely cool. Technology is a pretty remarkable thing. It's only a matter of time before the self-driving rocket hits the market.
