Hip-hop was represented in the winner's circle at the 2017 BMI R&B/Hip-Hop Awards in Atlanta Thursday night (Aug. 31). Future, DJ Khaled, Metro Boomin and G-Eazy were among the winners at the ceremony, held at The Woodruff Arts Center’s Symphony Hall.

While not every artist who was nominated and won was in attendance, the DS2 rapper showed up to accept his award for Songwriter of the Year, which he won in a tie alongside DJ Khaled and Rihanna.

Future's pen game was recognized for songs like DJ Khaled's "Do You Mind," "Jumpman" with Drake, "Low Life" featuring The Weeknd and "Wicked."

After the ceremony, the Atlanta rapper gave a nod to his fans for the win. "Thanks BMI...the fans always pushing me in the perfect direction,Forever Loyal," he tweeted.

Khaled, who wasn't in the building to accept his award, won for his part in a variety of tracks from his own "Do You Mind" featuring Nicki Minaj, Chris Brown, August Alsina, Jeremih and Future, and "For Free" with Drake" to Kent Jones' "Don’t Mind" and Yo Gotti's "Down in the DM."

Other winners of the night include G-Eazy, whose "Me, Myself & I" won R&B/Hip-Hop Song of the Year, and Metro Boomin, who scored R&B/Hip-Hop Producer of the Year. Metro's work on "Mask Off" alone this year, which has already gone three times platinum, is enough reason to walk away with the win.
