EVSC to Extend School Day for Elementary through High School Students

The Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation School Board voted to adopt new classroom hours for their students. The new hours will begin for the 2014-2015 school year.

Under the newly adopted school schedule, elementary students in the EVSC will attend classes for an additional 30 minutes per day, from 8:15am to 3:10pm. For middle school and high school students, the school day will run from 7:30am to 2:30pm. The school corporation believes this will give additional and valuable time in the classroom for the students of the EVSC.
