Evansville’s Atlas Van Lines a Finalist for 2012 International Moving Company of the Year
After more than 500 entries, the Evansville based movers have been selected as one of 10 finalists for the U.S. Expatriate Management and Mobility Awards (EMMAs).
Atlas Van Lines has been part of the Evansville community longer than I have (I'll be 36 in November). Their white trailers with blue stripes and red letters are easily recognizable and seem to be everywhere. When we host our annual 911 Gives Hope for the Holidays Toy Drive each year, they're more than happy to donate a trailer for us to use for your donations. I even remember them sponsoring one of the hydroplanes during the heyday of Thunder on the Ohio.
Hosted by the Forum for Expatriate Management, the EMMAs recognize excellent in global mobility and will hold their annual awards ceremony in Las Vegas on September 13th.
Jack Griffin, president and COO of Atlas World Group, Inc. said in a press release, "Our team of experienced professionals at Atlas International and our agents around the world are certainly deserving of this recognition as one of the elite international moving companies. Atlas has made a variety of strategic moves to ensure our clients’ international corporate relocations are seamless from start to finish. With our exclusive agency agreements and superior customer service, we’re proud to be a part of the few shortlisted for this award category.”
106-1 KISS-FM wishes Atlas the best of luck at the upcoming ceremony.
