The organization's fourth annual "Totes for Hope" campaign is accepting donations through Monday, November 5th.

The Evansville Courier & Press reports this year's goal is to provide up to 600 homeless or near-homeless veterans with necessary essentials such as toiletries, including soap and shampoo, along with rain ponchos, flip flops, gloves, hats, bus tokens, phone cards, along with entertainment items such as crossword puzzles and decks of cards.

The Red Cross chapter headquarters on Stockwell Road, Ivy Tech Community College, Reitz High School, Tekoppel Elementary School, Perry Heights School, Fairlawn Elementary School, the offices of CBS 44, Harrison College, Bella's Hair Salon and Posh International Hair Studio are all serving as drop off points for donations.

Monetary donations are also being accepted at the Red Cross chapter headquarters and online at tristateredcross.org.
