Beginning July 27th, you can visit the Evansville Convention and Visitors Bureau Center for History and Science to experience the "Bottled and Kegged: A Toast to Evansville's Breweries" Exhibit. According to the Evansville Museum website:

BOTTLED AND KEGGED: A TOAST TO EVANSVILLE'S BREWERIES recalls an important part of our city's history. Since the 1830s, breweries have played a key role in the story of Evansville. This exhibition will examine historic breweries of the city and illustrate the continuation of this tradition in current Evansville enterprises.

Evansville actually has a long history of breweries dating back to 1837. Today, there are still local brews being crafted in the River City - Tin Man Brewing Company, Carson's Brewery and Turoni's Pizza & Brewery.

The exhibit will be open July 27 - October 5, 2014. Stop and check out Evansville's rich brewing history.
