Halloween falls on a Monday this year, and if you're looking to enjoy the day with something other than the routine trick-or-treating around the neighborhood, a few of the Evansville Public libraries are hosting activities tailored to kids of all ages on Halloween Day.

Both the McCollough and Red Bank branches will host trick-or-treating for the kids during business hours. The Red Bank branch will also feature spooky story readings along with games and crafts at 10:00 a.m.

McCollough will also host a "Monster Mash Preschool Dance Party" for the little ones featuring several kid-friendly dance songs for the gets to groove to.

For more information on these and other events, visit the Evansville-Vanderburgh Public Library's website.
