'Empire' Season 2 Drops Premiere Photos, Four New Trailers

True to form, FOX’s Empire has been living large on the road to its September Season 2 premiere, dropping trailer after trailer, and the occasional 20-minute preview. What better way to keep the Empire in power, than to add four more new trailers, as well as our first HD photos of the Season 2 opener?

There look to be a number of crossed purposes within the Lyon family by the latest Empire photos and trailers, attempting to free Lucious from jail as much as depose him as CEO. The newest trailers of Season 2 premiere “The Devils Are Here” also continue the parade of guest stars, simultaneously offering up a sample of some new tunes for the season.

In addition to its September 23 premiere, Empire Season 2 will expand to 18 episodes, up from the first run’s 12, and structured in two halves with a major cliffhanger between. Thus far, Season 2 guest stars include Mariah Carey, Adam Busch, Andre Royo, Kelly Rowland, Marisa Tomei, Adam Rodriguez, Chris Rock, Lenny Kravitz and Alicia Keys, while hip-hop artist Ne-Yo will join Timbaland in writing music for Season 2.
