Drop Off Location for Tree Debris from Storms Set up at Henderson’s Sandy Lee Watkins Park
The EF-2 tornado that tore through southern Henderson County Saturday night left many residents picking up sticks and limbs that were ripped from trees on their property, and the property of others. The question is, "what do you do with them?" The answer comes from the Henderson County Government.
Starting tomorrow (Tuesday, March 31st, 2020), residents can bring those limbs, sticks, trunks, etc. to Sandy Lee Watkins Park on Zion Road and dispose of them for free between 7:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. daily.
Representatives ask that you only bring debris caused by Saturday's tornado damage. Not other trash will be accepted.
