Donations Being Accepted for Victims of Evansville House Explosion [LINK]
The house explosion at 1717 Hercules Avenue on Evansville north side left two people dead, and hospitalized three, including an 8-year-old Jesse Woolems. As police and fire investigators continue to work toward determining what caused the explosion, family and friends of the victims have set up Go Fund Me accounts for the public to help cover the cost of medical expenses.
Along with Jesse's Go Fund Me, an account for Michael Kneer, who is currently being treated in Louisville with second and third degree burns over 80% of his body, has also been created.
A third account is for the family of Sharon Mand, who unfortunately lost her life as a result of the explosion. According to the accounts description, Sharon did not have a life insurance policy at the time of her death, which has left the family struggling to cover the costs for her funeral.
