Adopted Dog Shot and Killed And Kentucky Shelter Needs Your Help

A Muhlenberg County Humane Society shelter dog, that was adopted a couple of months ago, was found laying on the side of the road with a gunshot wound to the head Wednesday. Now, the shelter needs your help to catch the criminal responsible.

Around noon yesterday, dog got loose from his leash and ran off but was later found by a good Samaritan. According to the Muhlenberg County Humane Society,

His name was Patriot. These are his intake pictures. He came into the shelter in September he was adopted a couple months ago. The adopters have been notified and they are heart broken he was about 10 years old.
