Do You Know What a Yellow Ribbon on a Dog’s Leash Means?

Anytime I see a dog out in public, my natural reaction is to play with it. I can't help it, they're just so cute. But I didn't know that before I approach the dog, I should be looking for a yellow ribbon.

According to The Yellow Ribbon Campaign, this is a way of letting people know that the dog needs space. It could mean anything from that dog being in training to it having an injury. This is just a way for the owner to let people know, it's best to stay back.
