Let these non-traditional Christmas songs get you in your own spirit of Christmas!

I'm not the biggest fan of Christmas music. Every year, it's the same 14 songs played on repeat until they get shut down on Dec. 26th. If you are tired of hearing "Rudolph" and "I'll Be Home for Christmas," here are some rockin' alternatives that you are sure to enjoy!

All Time Low - Merry Christmas, Kiss my Ass

This one is a happy little number about a break-up that happens around Christmas. It is very similar to WHAM's "Last Christmas," albeit, with a little more bite to it. Definitely one of my favorite non-traditional Christmas Songs

Fall Out Boy - Yule Shoot Your Eye Out

The guys from Fall Out Boy got in on the Christmas spirit a few years ago with this song. It also tells the tale of lost love but isn't as hardcore as the All Time Low song. This one might actually make you feel things.

Blink-182 - Won't Be Home for Christmas

Blink-182 is my favorite band and this is one of their best songs, even though it's relatively unknown. While the previous songs on this entry deal with lost love around the holidays, this song tackled the very real issue of not liking your family, which we can all relate to in some capacity.

August Burns Red - Carol of the Bells

This is my favorite Christmas song of all-time. Ever since I heard it play towards the end of Home Alone, I've loved it. This version, from August Burns Red, is definitely a heavy-metal upgrade of the original. This song will make you want to decorate the Christmas tree with anger.

Death Cab for Cutie - Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)

There are few things I love in life more than Death Cab for Cutie, a band that knows exactly how to get to your feels without any direction. The rendition of this Christmas classic will have you crying into your cookies and milk while texting your ex.
