Gibson County native, Drew Cooper, is making his homecoming one to remember. Cooper is a vibrant and highly coveted mural artist in California with his bold floral style.

Cooper has worked with major brands such as Adidas, Mountain Dew, Vans, and even worked with some rap artists. Thanks to local cafe, R'z Cafe & Catering, this native is coming home for one amazing project. Candice Yancey, owner of R'z was seeking someone to painting a large mural on the historic brick building her restaurant occupies. She is passionate about the talent of Fort Branch and wants something to not only an attraction but to have someone who came from Fort Branch.

According to their press release, "There will be an unveiling of the artwork on Thursday, July 11. There will be a cocktail and hors d'oeuvres reception from 6:30- 7 PM. The unveiling of "All Together" and other as yet untitled piece at 7 PM."

For those interested can mingle and take photos with the amazingly, talented Drew Cooper after the unveiling.

"Drew Cooper is a graduate of Gibson Southern High School. Cooper is an ultra-contemporary artist creating and working out of Los Angeles, California, originally from Indiana. Cooper creates aesthetic nature and flower art where he is known for his fresh style of vibrant and bright colored work. Taking his drawings from the studio to large scale murals, his work can be found inside and outside of the gallery setting. Cooper paints and draws his own colorful world of nature into which he welcomes you."
