When I first saw Bug, I couldn’t help but notice that goofy tongue hanging out of her mouth! With her sunny disposition and a possible high-end pedigree, she’s definitely going to make one lucky family very happy.

BUG'S STORY

Bug arrived at the WHS from Union County Animal Control over two months ago, and the staff can’t believe she’s still waiting for her forever home!

ABOUT BUG

At just 10 months old, Bug is a playful and energetic pup. The staff has her listed her as a mix of Flat-coated Retriever and Australian Kelpie. She has the coat texture and head shape of a Flat-coated Retriever which are known for being loyal, intelligent, and easy to please. Her coat color, eyes, and facial features all suggest she has some Australian Kelpie in her as well. These dogs are known for their intelligence and herding instincts.

The staff says Bug is 100% puppy, which means she needs an active family who will take her on walks, adventures, and play with her. They all agree she’s got a joyful personality and is incredibly smart. Not surprising with her impressive genetic background!

BRING YOUR PETS IN FOR A MEET AND GREET

They do recommend testing her with any other dogs and cats in the household, as they’re not sure how she’ll react yet. But with how sweet she is, they can’t imagine she wouldn’t get along with everyone.
