It's time to check out some live theatre in Princeton!

39 steps

This weekend, the Broadway Players of Princeton are back at it again, with 39 Steps, a spy-thriller comedy inspired by Alfred Hitchcock. Here's the synopsis of the show:

Mix a Hitchcock masterpiece with a juicy spy novel, add a dash of Monty Python and you have The 39 Steps! In The 39 Steps, a man with a boring life meets a woman with a thick accent who says she's a spy. When he takes her home, she is murdered. Soon, a mysterious organization called "The 39 Steps" is hot on the man's trail in a nationwide manhunt that climaxes in a death-defying finale! The 39 Steps amounts to an unforgettable evening with nonstop laughs, over 150 zany characters (played by a ridiculously talented cast of 4), an on-stage plane crash, handcuffs, missing fingers and some good old-fashioned romance!

There will be six performances of the show. Performances begin at 7PM on Friday and Saturday evenings and 2PM on Sunday afternoons. The show runs Oct. 6th, 7th and 8th and Oct. 13th, 14th, and 15th. Tickets are $15 and may be purchased at the boxoffice or at broadwayplayers.org.

Below, you can hear my interview with the director of this show, Logan Vickers!
