Afraid of Heights? GRANTED Evansville Wish Kids Can Rappel Thanks to Your Donation
This time last year we were trying to fill around 110 rappelling spots for the first-ever Over the Edge for GRANTED event. Wow - What a difference a year makes! We have extended the registration twice, and we are at max capacity for rappellers. Oh, and that new number is 178. So, thank you for signing up, and now it is time to get to work fundraising.
We face obstacles each and every day, and going Over The Edge gives us one more barrier that we can beat! AND, it will be exciting and fun!
GRANTED Wish Kids Want to do What?!
We have 11 Wish Kids that want to rappel down the side of the CenterPoint building in Downtown Evansville. OVER THE EDGE is an exciting all-day event to raise money for Granted.
Every participant is required to raise at least $1000 in donations, and then they will have the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to feel like a superhero rappeling from the 9th story of the CenterPoint building.
Our 11 Wish Kids are admittedly a little nervous to go OVER THE EDGE, but I'm pretty sure it's just the anticipation. Maybe you have no desire to rappel from anything. That's ok, our Wish Kids will do the tough part, they just need your donation to get to their goal.
