Adopting Denny from Warrick Humane Society is a ‘Grand Slam’ Idea!
If you are looking for an extra sweet gal, Denny just might be it! She's been at Warrick Humane Society for over 80 days making her the fourth longest resident.
Denny is a two-year-old Dogue de Bourdeaux mix. Sounds fancy - kinda like ordering a 'Moons Over My Hammy'! She was found as a stray outside of Denny's and was taken to Hopkins County Humane Society where she stayed for almost four months. So, she's been at a shelter for a really long time and needs a family.
Denny likes people, kids, and other dogs but there are two things that potential adopters need to know.
1. She's heartworm positive - but not to worry - WHS is covering all her treatment.
2. She's an escape artist. A fenced-in yard would be best!

Don't let these things stop you from checking her out. She's a goofball and a sweetheart and just needs the right people.
The WHS staff considers her a favorite. Since Denny has been in their care for so long, her adoption fee is 20% off! She is up to date on all vaccines, deworming, and flea/tick prevention. She is neutered/spayed, and microchipped.
If you're interested in her or any of the WHS's other adoptable pets, please fill out an adoption application online at https://warrickhumanesociety.org/adoption/
Their hours are Wednesday-Thursday 12-7 and Friday-Sunday 12-4. Their address is 5722 S Vann Rd, Newburgh IN 47630.
