According to the travel website called globalgrasshopper.com, The Ozark Mountains and the Lake of the Ozarks is the most beautiful place in Missouri. This is the spot that tops their list of the Top 21 Most Beautiful Places to Visit in Missouri. Why do they choose this spot? On the site they say...

"The area is actually made up of three separate areas the Boston, Springfield, and Salem Plateaus, and is heavily forested. It’s a tranquil place and a family vacation favorite and there are many great things to here including hiking, golfing, boating, camping, and exploring the many quirky little gems on offer. Don’t miss the beautiful Lake of the Ozarks, a reservoir created by impounding the Osage River and one of Missouri’s premier vacation destinations."

What are some of the other places that made the list? Well, the rest of the list features Blue Spring, Big Cedar Lodge, Elephant Rocks State Park, the Gateway Arch, and Clifty Creek Natural Bridge.
