5K Wag, Walk, & Run – Humane Society of Henderson County

It is no big secret that I have a big place in my heart for animals. If I could rescue them all I would. Since I'm not able to take them all into my home, I can at least do the next best thing: Help the Humane Society help the animals find good homes!

The Humane Society of Henderson County works very hard to "provide a safe haven to the unwanted, abused, neglected and homeless animals of Henderson County, working to place these animals in loving homes and rescues." You can help them meet the needs of these animals.

This Saturday, October 29th, 2011 the Humane Society of Henderson County will be hosting the 5K Wag, Walk, & Run.

The race will start and end at Central Park in Downtown Henderson at 8AM.... For the race enthusiasts, this will be an official timed race. For the casual participants, enjoy a relaxing morning walk with family and friends. Streets will be partially blocked for the runners. We will also be offering additional activities at the park including pet pictures, microchip application service, and more."
