Today is 4/20. Yes, everyone knows how most of you are celebrating this day. While I will not be partaking in the festivities, I will recommend some fun movies to watch to make the most of this holiday.

Some of these clips are NSFW but if you are looking up 4/20 stuff at work, you're probably already fired.

1. Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back

You can't have a list of 4/20 movies without showing respect to Kevin Smith. The man has made a career out of weed and fart jokes, yet somehow seamlessly weaves them into heartwarming stories. The most fun Kevin Smith movie is definitely Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, which is a fun inside joke of a movie that is much better if you've seen Smith's previous 4 films before this one. Oh, and you're welcome for now having Jay's rap song stuck in your head.

2. Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle

When I first saw the trailer for this movie I thought it was going to be a really low-budget affair that wouldn't be very funny. I was very wrong. Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle is one of the smartest dumb movies to ever come out. The humor is incredibly witty and you actually care about the characters. This movie also got Neil Patrick Harris back on everyone's radar which is something we are all thankful for.

3. Super Troopers

I didn't love this movie the first time I watch it but it eventually grew on me and now I see why it is so beloved. This is one of those movies that is endlessly quotable with a big group of friends. If you haven't said "right meow" to someone, you aren't living your best life. If you love the original, you'll be happy to know that the long delayed sequel finally hits theaters today!

4. Pineapple Express

It's been about a decade since I've seen Pineapple Express but I remember loving it. It came out during a time when we weren't all completely tired of Seth Rogen being in movies and when James Franco wasn't super weird off-screen. The title of the movie is named after a strain of marijuana so it's perfect viewing for 4/20. Oh, and Danny McBride is a national treasure and this movie is part of the reason why.

5. Half-Baked

No stoner comedy 4/20 list wouldn't be complete without the modern classic that is Half Baked. The movie helped launch Dave Chappelle's already successful career to new heights and was a precursor to his work on Chappelle's Show. This movie shows that if you have the right cast, even the simplest plot can be pulled off.
