Evansville's favorite son, Don Mattingly, returns home for his annual Mattingly Charities fundraiser on January 9th, and as always, he's bringing along a famous friend.

This year's event, "A Bronx Reunion," is set to take place at Tropicana Evansville from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m., and will see Don reunite with one of his former teammates, New York Yankees legend, Bernie Williams. The two will take time during the event to share stories from their time together both on and off the baseball diamond.

The night will also feature food, drinks, and a silent auction featuring one-of-a-kind items such as autographed baseballs and jersey's with more items to be added between now and the day of the event. All items can be previewed in advance through the Handbid website, or the Handbid app.

Tickets for the event are on sale now through the Mattingly Charities website with general admission tickets available for $150 per person. VIP tickets are also available for $300 per person and includes "a private reception with Don and Bernie, a professional photograph during the meet and greet, and preferred seating." But don't wait, only 250 total tickets are available. Once they're gone, they're gone.

Proceeds from the event will go towards continuing the Mattingly Charities mission of "supporting programs which promote youth development through athletic participation, social development opportunities, and educational advancement programs."
