They say you never forget your first time.  When it comes to the West Side Nut Club Fall Festival, this is especially true.  I remember a few years ago, when I first set foot onto West Franklin, I was overwhelmed as most are.  I suggest these five simple rules when making your first Fall Festival excursion.

Ahhh, the West Side Nut Club Fall Festival. It's a time and place where even the older generations can feel like a kid again. But, do you realize how many life lessons the younger ones learn from the Fall Fest? If you are a parent, and you don't teach your kids these things shhhhaaaaame on you!

With just over a month to go until the annual street festival, the West Side Nut Club unveils an all new website for the festivities.

Santa Claus is coming to town, and he's stopping by Acorn Plaza at the corner of 10th and Franklin Street on Evansville's west side to visit with the kids during the second weekend of the the West Side Nut Club's, "Santa Land."

Being born and raised on the west side means that a trip to the annual West Side Nut Club Fall Festival every October isn't an option. It's mandatory. But that's not a bad thing by any stretch. A trip down Franklin Street means gorging on a ridiculous amount of food then trying to keep it all down as your spun around, whipped around, and flipped upside down in the midway.

The 92nd annual West Side Nut Club Fall Festival is underway, and to make sure that everyone stays safe, the Evansville Police Department has released a list of items you're NOT allowed to bring to Franklin Street.
