The Rob Reviews Trainwreck

This weekend I got a chance to catch up and see some movies that are still out in theaters.  First up is a comedy I've been wanting to see since I first saw the trailer, Amy Schumer's "Trainwreck".  I love Amy's style of comedy, whether it's on her stand up, or her Comedy Central sitcom Inside Amy Schumer. Does her comedy lend well to the big screen?

The Rob Reviews Ted 2

Yesterday, I went back to the movies and got a chance to see Ted 2.  I thought the first Ted movie from 2012 was a pretty solid comedy, and I've been excited to see its sequel.  The movie did a lot of things well and a lot of things wrong in my opinion, and you can find those things out in my latest movie review below!

The Rob Reviews 50 Shades of Grey [VIDEO]

I've been dreading this moment for about a year.  Since the movie adaptation of the novels 50 Shades of Grey was announced, I was informed that I would be seeing it on opening weekend.  I was also told there was nothing I could do because my girlfriend reminded me that she "saw Ninja Turtles" even though she didn't want to.

The Rob Reviews “Ouija” [VIDEO]

As I mentioned on the air last week, I got a chance to get out and see the movie Ouija.  I didn't have high expectations, but besides Anabelle, there weren't many scary movies out this Halloween season.  Did Ouija let me down?  Find out in my video review below!

Is Sin City 2 As Bad As Everyone Says – The Rob’s Review

Sin City: A Dame to Kill For came out this past weekend, and it BOMBED.  I was actually incredibly surprised by this.  The first movie came out ten years ago, and while I don't recall how it did financially and how critics assessed it, my group of friends and I liked it very much.  Honestly, I'd go as far as to say that the first Sin City is one of my top 20 favorite films of all-time.  I was beyond excited to see this sequel.  I had seen it advertised frequently and it seemed like people were talking about it.  It didn't open up against any blockbusters and had a legit cast of A-list actors, but for some reason, it crashed and burned at the box office in its opening weekend, making less than $7 million.  Is it worth seeing?
