Mayor Lloyd Winnecke

Since entering office, Mayor Lloyd Winnecke has made promoting better health and fitness to Evansville residents a top priority for his administration. That promotion continues this Saturday (January 18th) at Swonder Ice Arena during the next installment of the monthly "Fitness in the Park" series.

Last Thursday's notice asking residents to conserve water due to the high number of water main breaks around the city is short lived as the department reports reservoir levels have returned to normal.

UPDATE - January 9th at 4:15PM: More details are starting to trickle in (pun somewhat intended) about the issue at the Water Treatment Plant on Waterworks Road which has caused Mayor Winnecke's office to urge all residents served by the city water department to conserve usage for the next few days.
