Man’s Last Wish Becomes Amazing Act of Generosity
We’ve all heard very touching stories about people passing on and leaving a very generous amount of money to some charity, or to some struggling person that they know and those stories always amaze us. This story is very touching, and thanks to several generous people helping his legacy live on, as of right now 105 total strangers are going to have the surprise of a lifetime.
30-year-old Aaron Collins, passed away about a month ago. In his will he had a rather unusual request, Aaron asked that his family buy a pizza and leave the waiter or waitress an “awesome tip.” A week after Aaron’s death his family decided to do exactly as Aaron asked. They went to a local pizzeria and surprised the waitress with a $500 tip . They recorded the exchange, and then posted it on youtube where it went viral.
People all over the world were touched by the video and the generosity that Aaron’s family showed that the family then created a website called “Aarons Wish” which raises money to give out more $500 tips in Aaron’s memory.
Since the website was started they have generated over $50,000 in Aaron’s memory. That means as of right now 105 waiters, and waitresses will have the surprise of their lifetime thanks to Aaron and his pretty amazing family.
Aaron’s death remains a mystery. The family is still awaiting a final coroner report but the preliminary one suggests strangulation. What is not a mystery anymore however is Aaron’s legacy, which is definitely going to be one of generosity.
So far they have given out four $500 tips, and they have recorded each of them.
