I had the opportunity over the weekend to check out Zuki's new location in downtown Evansville, and it was awesome!

From the minute I walked into Zuki on the Main Street Walkway, it felt like I was in a big city. Zuki definitely did it right as far as the atmosphere and the decor! We opted for sushi & hibachi, and were taken upstairs.

The sushi at Zuki is always delicious. My favorite is the Dragon Roll which features eel & cucumber. As for the hibachi, swordfish is my go-to. I do not like seafood as a general rule because I am funny about textures, but swordfish is more like an extra-super-tender steak as far as the consistency goes. Our hibachi chef was full of energy and great jokes. He even spelled his name on the grill with the egg that he cracked over his spatula! It was a great time to watch as he prepared our food fresh right before our eyes!

When it comes to dessert, there are few things as delicious as Bananas Tempura - tempura battered bananas, deep fried and drizzled in carmel sauce with a sprinkle of powdered sugar. Yum!!!

If you love sushi or if you are looking to try something new, I definitely recommend trying Zuki at their new downtown location!
