John Mayer Dumped Katy Perry In a Really Cheap Way

I’ve always been a big John Mayer fan. Sure he’s done a couple interviews where he came off as a complete ignorant douche, and he isn’t known for his good reputation with the ladies, but I have always really liked his music. But besides those couple things, I genuinely do still like the guy. However, even though he called Taylor Swift out after their relationship ended for writing a song about him, he called it “cheap songwriting” I call this a cheap breakup.
More recently he was dating Katy Perry (who I am also a pretty big fan of), and they were seen out partying and hanging out. It was a very public relationship. Well apparently Katy’s lifestyle involved too much partying for him. Which I can see that, sometimes people who aren’t into partying can get tired of it, and sometimes that could make or break a relationship. It’s how he broke up with her that I think is pretty lame.
He emailed her.
Yep ^^ you read that right. The man emailed her. I remember a teacher I had in high school used to always say “you never text message breakup” I think email technically falls under that. I mean it is text that you type out and send, it just goes through the internet and not phone lines. According to PopCrush, a source said that “She was furious and really hurt. She was into him, but he wasn’t feeling it.” Can you blame her? I’d probably feel the exact same way.
