Creepy Real Life Sleeping Beauty Art Exhibit

We’ve all seen the movies, and read the fairytales about the beautiful princess who falls asleep, and can only be awoken by true loves kiss.   I’m pretty sure by now we all realize it’s totally bogus, but it makes for a good story.  Well this really creepy guy I mean um, artist (pronounce artist as Arr-Teest) by the name of Taras Polataiko he liked that idea so he created an art exhibit of real-live sleeping women.  That’s not the big deal here though, it’s what happens when the woman wakes up, then things get weird.

A three-day installation in the National Art Museum of the Ukraine held the event of the sleeping, fake eyelashed beauties. And what went on these three days was weird.

This is like fairy tale meets matchmaking service.  They say “women dream of waking up when their true love kisses them”  well, I’m not sure which women they’ve been talking too, but I can assure that’s not on my to-do list.  These women get all super prettied up to well, sleep.  They fall asleep (maybe they’re acting) and these creepy dudes all walk around and kiss them….  if the woman wakes up because of “true loves” kiss, she is legally binded by a contract she signed saying that she would marry that man.
