It seems like every woman I know is obsessed with true crime shows. You know it's a big deal when Saturday Night Live makes a sketch about it. Imagine finding yourself in the middle of a real life potential true crime scenario. Would you jump into action, call for help, or pretend you didn't hear or see anything? Lynn and Jeff Minnis found themselves in a scary situation, that could've ended in a true crime mini series. Thanks to their quick actions, a young girl's life was probably saved.

Jeff and Lynn do a lot of recreational traveling on the weekends, and this past weekend, they were in a Kansas hotel. Lynn heard a girl screaming down the hall from their room, and without hesitation, she jumped into action. Only one other couple came out to help, after hearing the screams for help. They wanted to share their story, as a public service, in case you find yourself in a similar situation.

This particular incident involved a domestic violence situation. Without the quick actions of Lynn and Jeff, this could've ended very badly. It's so important to step in or at the very least, call for help if you suspect that anyone is in a dangerous situation. Jeff has had training and experience with weapons and commands that he put to use. Lynn hasn't had that training, but she knew that someone was in trouble, and knew she had to help.
