Walmart Taco Seasoning Sold in IN, KY, & IL Recalled Due to Possible Salmonella Contamination

The manufacturer of Great Value brand Mild Taco Seasoning sold exclusively at Walmart has issued a voluntary recall after the discovery it may be contaminated with salmonella.

Williams Foods LLC decided the recall was necessary after cumin used in the mix tested positive for the bacteria. The seasoning packets are sold at Walmart stores across the country including here in the Tri-State.

As will all recalls, if you have an affected package, obviously, don't eat it. Either throw it away or return it to the Walmart location where you purchased it for a refund or exchange.
