What started out as a routine traffic stop went south quick when Miramar police in Florida’s Broward County arrested Tory Lanez on drug and gun charges.

According to XXL, Lanez was charged with carrying a concealed firearm, possession of cannabis 20 grams or less, failure to register a motor vehicle, driving without a valid driver’s license and failure to show proof of liability insurance. While the cannabis charge is a first-degree misdemeanor, possession of a firearm is a third-degree felony.

Lanez has garnered success with his hit singles "LUV" and "Say It." He is scheduled to be on Future's Nobody's Safe tour with Migos, Kodak Black, Young Thug, and A$AP Ferg. The tour will kick off May 4 in Memphis, and this arrest could possibly impact his tour schedule.

Lanez was released after posting $1,000 bond.
