As families remain shut in across the tri-state during the aftermath of Winter Storm Blair, requests for food deliveries have seen an uptick across the board.
This morning, folks across the tristate woke to several inches of snow and closings. And though local road crews are working around the clock to clear roads, we won't have much time to recover.
I do not have good news for everyone. This downpour of rain is going to turn into freezing rain, sleet and eventually snow - meaning a nice, slick layer of ice under the heaps of snow on the roads. I'll admit it. I prayed for snow. I wanted a snow day! Don't we all? Now, my fickle self has had enough of the snow. I know the weather isn't up to me but I'd be really okay with warmer temps, flowers, sunshine and balmy weather. However, those lovely things will have to wait. I am sad to say that more winter weather is on its way.
