May 1st is National School Principals' Day. Here's a tribute to Mr. Aubrey Pendley, who was principal at Thruston Elementary School in Daviess County, KY for nearly thirty years.

It is National School Bus Driver Appreciation Day and I am celebrating my former bus driver. Evelyn Keown drove for the Daviess County Public School System in the early 1980s.

Remember NaFrinse? I'm pretty sure this is the fluoride treatment we took back in the day in elementary school.
