After weeks of speculation and input from several members of the community, Mayor Lloyd Winnecke announced the finalized plan for a celebration to honor Evansville native and Olympic gold medalist, Lilly King, during a press conference Tuesday morning at Bosse Field.
Evansville native, Lilly King, along with other Olympians from across the state of Indiana who participated in the Rio Games, were recognized for their accomplishments before and during Sunday's Indianapolis Colts' game at Lucas Oil Stadium.
