It’s been over a decade since we all first rooted for Jack Black and his cast of talented kids in ‘School of Rock,’ and those of you who have never given up on a continuation will be happy to know one is finally, finally coming!

Most of the major networks have already put forward their fall 2014 schedules, but fourth place is hardly bad press for FOX, given all their promising new series on deck. Jennifer Lopez is currently showing up on our small screens as a returning judge on Season 13 of 'American Idol,' a gig she held in 2011 and 2012. The singer/actress/designer/reality show star aka quadruple threat, who is also the mom of twins, is also returning to episodic television, as she will star in and executive produce the NBC cop drama 'Shades of Blue.'

Like 'Fargo' herself, casting for FX's forthcoming adaptation of the 1996 Coen brothers classic has been a bit slow-moving, at least until today. While a few shows have already begun their Fall 2013 run (namely my personal favorite, Sons of Anarchy on FX), the majority of new and returning shows will begin their runs the over the next two weeks. Two of which will definitely find a home on my DVR, Andy Samberg's cop comedy, Brooklyn Nine-Nine and Sleepy Hollow, the modern day take on the classic spooky story.
