by Adrienne Mayse I’m not one of those people that has an emergency generator under a tarp in my back yard. I don’t stock MREs in my basement or have shelves of canned food that I rotate regularly. Honestly, I wish I were, because you never know what might go wrong.

The Owensboro NWTF Chapter Annual Banquet will host a live auction, silent auction and multiple gun and prize raffles to raise money for community events including a wounded warrior hunt, a wheeling sportsman day, youth day and women’s outdoor days. This event is open to the public.

The Department of Natural Resources says that a Newburgh man is now facing criminal charges for deer poaching after he allegedly shot a rare albino deer earlier this week in a populated neighborhood. According to a report by conservation officer Mike Kellner, Donald Kenny II, 28, was witnessed shooting an albino deer with a shotgun after blinding the animal with the headlights of his pickup truck.
