The classic Boy Meets World may have lasted a full seven seasons in its ‘90s-2000 heyday, but sitcom lifespans are very different on the 2010-era Disney Channel. After some three full seasons, Girl Meets World might have officially come to an end, at least according to star Rider Strong.
After much discussion and fanfare, the Boy Meets World psuedo-sequel Girl Meets World finally debuted on the Disney Channel last week. I was a huge Boy Meets World fan, and even though I'm slightly out of their target demographic, I decided to give the first episode of Girl Meets World a try. Is it worth the time? This is one of those things that is so awesome it seems too good to be true. The best show to come from the 90's in my opinion was 'Boy Meets World' it was such a good show that dealt with the issues of growing up while steering clear of being too cheesy or too comedic (even though the show was pretty funny).
