The months of May and June bring welcome relief from the winter chill, but they also bring along an increased risk for severe weather in the Tri-State area, namely tornadoes.
If there's one positive that can come from a tragic event like this mornings tornados in Henderson County, parts of Newburgh, and Harrisburgh, IL, is that we can learn from it. So in getting us prepared for anything... you know... Tornadoes, Floods... Zombie Apocalypse?!?! the CDC has issued a list of instructions for preparing for EVERY possible emergency situation. EVEN a Zombie Apocalypse!
...but where do zombies come from and why do they love eating brains so much...
