The Evansville Police Department announced earlier today they have identified, and are searching for 26-year-old Antoine M. Russell as the second suspect in a stabbing late Monday night on the city's north side.

Investigators with the Evansville Police Department believe 34-year-old Edward Ivy held a victim at gunpoint while another, unidentified suspect stabbed them late last night on Evansville's north side, leaving the victim with life threatening injuries.

If you've been keeping up with the news, or at the very least, following Evansville Watch on Facebook and Twitter, then you know there's been an increase in "shots fired" reports in certain parts of the city. These reports have prompted Chief Billy Bolin to take extra steps to keep residents safe.

Brick Bruce Phillips is currently in the Vanderburgh County Detention Center on a $5,000/$50,000 cash/surety bond awaiting a court appearance on two counts of Burglary and two counts of Theft in connection to the recent thefts at the Highland Youth Baseball Club, Mulzer's Crushed Stone, and United Minerals.

An Indiana mom is in hot water after leaving her two-year-old in a bathtub full of cold water for several minutes – causing the child’s core temperature to drop into the dangerous stages of hypothermia.

Yesterday the EPD asked for your help in identifying suspected vandals, and it looks like you may have come through for them. Evansville Police now have two men in custody.
