I have recently fallen in love with painting. I am not very confident in my skills, but I truly enjoy doing it... and I thought I would share some of my art with you.

We know art comes in all sorts of forms, from the grumpy to the banana variety. But something we don't see all-that-often is the kind that uses your own fingers as the canvas.

The free event will take place on Sunday, June 2st, 2013 from 11am - 4pm at the Boy Scouts Eykamp Center next to the American Red Cross on the Lloyd Expressway.

Anything goes when it comes to art, particularly on the internet. Feel like constructing an ode to Grumpy Cat? Knock yourself out. What about a collection of Disney/Star Wars mashups? That, my friends, is also possible.

There's something about the holidays that puts a lot of us here at TheFW into extra crafty moods. Maybe it's all those awesome Etsy decorations we so wish we could copy or just the fact we're feeling particularly festive this time of year. Either way, trying to get all creatively crafty is just plain old fun.

While we’re still hanging on to our dog-eared copy of ‘Stripperella No. 1,’ strictly for sentimental reasons, of course, Mike Alcantara is doing something much more creative with his old comic books.

Whatever the case, you might find it at this Saturday's 501 Arts and Vendor Fair and be able to help the Easter Seals Rehabilitation Center at the same time!

Mario seems to a source of inspiration for a lot of artists, including Denver, Colorado chalk artist, Chris Carlson who may have created the coolest tribute to everybody's favorite princess-saving plumber yet.

Art is a truly beautiful thing. Whether it's visual, music, or literature... It is art, and without it, our lives would be oh so boring. I am not a particularly artistic person. At least I don't consider myself in that way, but this guy... THIS GUY...
