911 gives hope for the holidays

Over the course of the past two mornings here at the 911 Gives Hope For Holidays Toy Drive, I've been able to spend a lot of time with Santa Claus!  After a lot of convincing, I finally got him to sit down with me for a short but hard hitting interview!

We're here at the Eastside Walmart in Evansville for the 911 Gives Hope for the Holidays Toy Drive! Come out and donate toys or money to help area children have a nice Christmas and ease the discomfort of being in the hospital through the year.

We wanted to extend a thank you to Pet Smart, for donating brand new toys to 911 Gives Hope for the Holidays! We just picked up pallets and pallets of adorable, lovable, stuffed furry friends that will be given to pediatric patients at five local facilities this year!

Every year, Santa visits 911 Gives Hope for the Holidays. Okay, we aren't talking the fakey Santa that stuffs his belly with a pillow. No, we are talking the real, Old Saint Nicholas; Father Christmas; Papai Noel.

In 2013, we faced some pretty nasty weather but we pushed on and we were witness to some Christmas miracles that the tri-state made happen. Check it out!

The one day marketplace will give shoppers the opportunity to support both local businesses and a great local charity in one location.

Remember all those toys you donated during our 911 Gives Hope for the Holidays Toy Drive a few weeks back? Yeah, we took those to the kids in the Evansville-Henderson area hospitals on Thursday.

Every holiday season, for three days, police officers, firefighters, and medics camp out at the Evansville Wal-Mart East parking lot to collect toys.  Indispensable support is provided by Townsquare Media,  Henderson Chevrolet, and Wal-mart.

The 3rd annual 911 Gives Hope for the Holiday's Toy Drive with 911 Gives Hope and Henderson Chevrolet, Buick, GMC is in the books and thanks to you, we filled another 53 foot trailer full of toys for the kids who will spend the holidays in area hospitals.
