2013 Emmy Awards

It was "anything goes" on the star-studded, dripping-with-couture red carpet at the 65th annual Emmys (Sept. 22). The carpet teemed with some of the prettiest, fanciest dresses, yet there were just as many subdued but stylish frocks. There were full skirts, bright colors, neutrals, column shapes and more...

Whoa! 'Mad Men' star Jon Hamm is one handsome gent, and we're used to seeing him all clean cut. Until tonight. At the 2013 Emmys (Sept. 22), the actor showed up rocking a thick, bushy beard, leaving us all like, "Who's that lumberjack onstage presenting an award with Alec Baldwin?"

Claire Danes took home the award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series at the 2013 Emmys this Sunday. Danes won the same honor during last year's Emmys, as well.

Neil Patrick Harris just couldn't help himself, could he? After telling the audience at the 2013 Emmy Awards that there's more to him than singing and dancing, he bursts out into song and dance!

As many people were flipping back and forth between the second-to-last episode of 'Breaking Bad' and the 2013 Emmy Awards, many assumed that Bryan Cranston would take home one last Best Actor Emmy for his work as Walter White. Those people (including us!) were wrong, as Jeff Daniels pulled off the upset of all upsets and won Outstanding Lead Actor for his work on 'The Newsroom.'

Jane Lynch memorialized her 'Glee' co-star Cory Monteith, who died of a drug overdose in July at the tender age of 31, during tonight's (Sept. 22) Emmys telecast. Lynch told the world that Monteith was such a kind soul and so full of charm that it was incredibly easy to fall in love with him.

Take that, Skyler haters! 'Breaking Bad' star Anna Gunn has won the 2013 Outstanding Supporting Actress Emmy award, winning for her role as Skyler White, the wife of Meth Kingpin Walter White.

With no signs of slowing down yet, 'The Big Bang Theory' continues its worldwide domination, as actor Jim Parsons tonight takes home the Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series award at the 2013 Emmy Awards for his role as genius egghead Sheldon Cooper.

It's a two-fer for 'Veep' star Julia Louis-Dreyfus! Following her win for the same award in 2012, the former 'Seinfeld' star has taken home the 2013 Emmy for Outstanding Leading Actress in a Comedy Series, winning for her role as Vice President Selina Meyer of HBO’s ‘Veep.’

The 2013 Emmys -- now in their 65th year-- took place in Los Angeles tonight (Sept. 22). The ceremony and the awards themselves both recognize and celebrate excellence in the television medium.
